Ryanair openes a connection to Amman, the capital of Jordan by the end of October 2018. The Kraków – Amman route will be operated twice a week and will be included in the 2018/19 winter season flight timetable.
With the new offer from Ryanair, you can now plan your vacation in Jordan. UNESCO World Heritage sites in Jordan include Petra, an ancient rock city of the Nabateans with a legend about an Egyptian pharaoh treasure, Qasr Amra, a castle in the middle of a desert and Wadi Rum, referred to as the Moon Valley.
The capital of Jordan, Amman is a place where antiquity meets modernity. Centuries ago, Amman used to be called… Philadelphia. While in the city, it is a good idea to go for a walk around the archaeological park Jabal al-Qal’a Citadel, offering a perfect view of most of the city which – just like Rome – was originally situated on seven hills. Tourists will also be attracted by: a Roman theatre built into a hillside which can accommodate up to 6,000 spectators, the Jordan Archaeological Museum, the Royal Automobile Museum, the Hedjaz Jordan Railway with a railway museum and the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts. Amman is also a city of shops and cafés. Those looking for local specialties should also visit the market in Amman.
Tickets will be available from end of February at Ryanair’s website.
