The water fountains are available after the security check zone. The devices are equipped with faucets which allow passengers to pour water into the cups or fill the bottles.
Two free water fountains are located in the Schengen zone and one in Non Schengen. Water from the appliances meets all the required drinking water standards.
Chopin Airport became the first airport in Poland and one of the first in the region, where passengers have access to free drinking water.
“We are very pleased that together with MPWiK we have been able to introduce this facility to our passengers. We are proud to be the first airport in Poland to offer free water to our guests” says Hubert Wojciechowski, director of the Chopin Airport and Marketing Office.
