Railway connection
The most convenient way to reach Cracow (Kraków) from Warsaw (Warszawa) is by the railway connection. Therefore, if you land at the Warsaw Chopin Airport (Okęcie) first, you need to take the public bus number 175. The bus departs every few minutes from the arrival terminal. Warsaw’s main train station (Warszawa Centralna) is right in the center of the city, across the street from the Marriott hotel. From Warsaw Central station (Warszawa Centralna) you can catch a direct train to Cracow (Kraków).

The main train station in Warsaw is called Warszawa Centralna, and you will arrive in Cracow at the Kraków Główny station.
Despite the fact that Warsaw and Cracow are located nearly 300 kilometers from each other, it is still possible to make a quick trip. The journey from Warsaw (Warszawa) to Cracow (Kraków) averages between 2.10 and 4.5 hours, depending on the type of train you take.
