The project has been established to develop local film, TV and multimedia sector as well as to make it more recognisable on Polish and foreign markets. The cluster will also cooperate with local institutions and public administration regarding acquisition of UE funds and other public grants available in Poland for the film industry. Development of film education, providing workshops on the sector issues including law regulations is another goal of the cluster. Currently, the cluster gathers 10 companies. Those are: Cinelight, NOLABEL Outside Music, Outside, TechnoStage, Film Kraków Soctiety, MFX Film Studio, Daul, „Alternative Studio” and Kraków Techno – Park.
This is the second, after establishing Digital Entertainment Cluster in 2013, initiative of the film and multimedia sector. Also makeIT, a commitment of new technology companies, is present in Małopolska region.
