335 129 passengers were handled at Kraków Airport in May, i.e. 2% more than in the same month last year. It was the best May in the history of the airport.
The high number of passengers was mainly due to the new routes of two low-cost airlines Ryanair and Norwegian – says Jan Pamuła, the CEO of Kraków Airport.
Since the beginning of the year, Kraków Airport has handled 1 313 257 passengers, i.e. 4% more than in 2012. The airport’s board is forecasting a growth of 6% in 2013 and expects to handle 3.66 million passengers.
