Flights to Kosice in Slovakia start on March 28th and will be carried out 6 times a week. The combination will be operated throughout the year, by Bombardier Q400 aircraft. The schedule will ensure the passengers traveling from Kosice the shortest connection via Warsaw to the most important cities in Europe, including Stockholm, Dusseldorf, Zurich, London, Amsterdam and Paris. A trip to all these cities can be made even within a single day, without staying overnight.
– The current flights offer from Kosice is not sufficient, and other hubs are within three-hours’ drive. We link Kosice with the world giving the passengers the most convenient access not only to Warsaw, but also Via Warsaw to many other cities in Poland and Europe – says Marcin Celejewski acting CEO of LOT.
For passengers from Poland, Kosice is a popular tourist destination, which – apart from a limited offer of other carriers – has so far been available only after a long journey by car.
Connection to Palanga in Lithuania also starts on March 28th and will also be carried out 6 times a week by Bombardier Q400 aircraft. Flights between Warsaw and Palanga will be operated seasonally. The connecting time on flights from Warsaw to most European cities will not exceed one hour. This is the most convenient offer available from Palanga Airport.
– Palanga was almost inaccessible by airplane. We are glad that through our connection, we will change it soon and the trip from Warsaw to the Lithuanian Baltic Sea coast will take just over an hour. On the other hand, we know that the residents of Palanga need a connection that gives them access to major European business centres and tourist destinations. Today we have LOT that provides such access – adds the Celejewski CEO.
Kharkov – the third new direction on the map of LOT – will be operated from March 1st, 5 times a week. The flights will be made by comfortable Embraers 175.

Tickets for all new connections are available on the LOT website, in LOT Travel offices and at sales agents. Tickets for other, previously announced routes, including flights to Tokyo, Venice, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Nice, Cluj-Napoca, Barcelona, Beirut, Athens and Zurich are also available.
