Tomasz Wasilewski’s “Floating Skyscrapers” was selected as the best picture from Central and Eastern Europe and came out as the clear winner of the prestigious “East of the West” competition at the recent 48th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Other awards also went to Krzysztof Krauze and Joanna Kos–Krauze, both of whom received a special mention for their film “Papusza”, which took part of the main competition.
