PoPolsku is the Polish newspaper in the Netherlands, entirely written in Polish. It has the look and feel of a magazine, with all information on topics that the Polish people in the Netherlands are interested in, such as legislation, culture, living, jobs, health and taxes. The articles in the magazine are fully available through multiple media, the daily Dutch news is updated in both Dutch and Polish on our website before 8:30 in the morning, so you will not have to miss out on anything that is happening in Holland, just in case you are not able to read Dutch.
On poPolsku you can find all articles on the latest Dutch news in Polish and in Dutch. We are also to be found on social media, twitter: @ gazetapopolsku and facebook: GazetapoPolsku.
In the newspaper and on the website you will see that there is a strong focus on living and working in the Netherlands, special interests for men and women, sports and showbiz, recreation and Dutch culture and Arts. In addition, every reader of the newspaper gets the opportunity to follow Dutch lessons and do homework and with the outcome enter an assignment, and with that they have a chance to win an iPad mini, every month. The circulation is 40.000 copies, the current number of Polish people in Holland is estimated around 300.000
The printed version of poPolsku will extend its activities with a TV Channel called poPolskuTV (starting July 2013). This channel will broadcast 10-15 short items per week on living in general, working and living in Holland. The items are all presented in Polish. These short movies can be seen through our own YouTube channel and via the website www.popolsku.tv. In addition, every Friday we will broadcast a program called poPolskuNL. This program is similar to a Dutch show called “Hart van Nederland”. During 20-25 minutes all kinds of Dutch news is shared with the viewers. A variety on life, work, living in the Netherlands, and besides that there is room for topics on recreation, arts and culture in the Netherlands, and news from the world of Showbiz and Royalty. Our two regular (Polish) presenters and two sidekicks (also Polish) share all the information in a professional studio.
In addition poPolsku also has a professional job board. A job board for Polish people, or people in the EU who speak and write Polish fluently. We are also starting a credential fund (in formation) to make it easier for Polish and other people from abroad with their own diploma will have the opportunity to find a suitable and matching job!
