Michał Szcześniak’s Starting Point, produced by Munk Studio, which operates within the structure of the Polish Filmmakers Association is the only Polish film among the ten titles on the Oscar nominations shortlist in the Documentary Short Subject category. The list was released on 26th October.
Everyday at 7:00 p.m., between 3rd and 30th September, Polish Pavilion will be the venue of Polish Film Show. One would also have a chance to meet Polish directors there.
Play Poland Film Festival – the biggest celebration of Polish cinema abroad – starts next month, 9th October. This year the event extends out of Great Britain and will be held in Canada, United States of America and Norway, being a real treat for cinema lovers.
