For the very first time, Kraków Airport exceeded the number of 300,000 passengers handled in the shortest month of the year.
An increase was also observed in the number of flights, which reached 2,732, that is 13% more than in February 2015.
In February, the greatest absolute increase was recorded by Ryanair, easyJet and KLM airlines, which carried, in total, 41,000 additional passengers last month. The most popular February destination from Kraków was Tenerife. Ryanair’s passenger load factor was 97%.
In the first two months of the year, Kraków Airport served 613,677 passengers in total, which is 17% more than in 2015.
At the end of March, a new carrier will offer flights from Kraków Airport. Starting from 25 March, SAS will provide direct flights from Cracow to Copenhagen.
