The 4th edition of Eastern Poland Business Forum organized by the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency is dedicated to new budgeting prospects in the years 2014-2020, internationalization of companies through the so called innovative intelligent specialization or development of key industries in the economy of a given region.

The event is targeted at entrepreneurs, Polish and foreign investors, business subsidiary institutions, investors interested in economic co-operation with the region and also local government entities in the area of Eastern Poland. Media and trade representatives have been also invited.

The Forum aims at the enhancement of a positive economic climate in Eastern Poland reaching to the characteristic features and assets of this macro-region. This year’s 4th edition of the Forum will include four panel sessions on such important issues as: 10 years of Polish membership in the UE, plans for the utilization of new union funds for 2014-2020 and trade specialization which could become the driving force in the region. Food, metallurgic, machine and building industries are certainly some of the sectors of high opportunity for Eastern Poland.

Because the subject of innovation holds a prominent position in the new budgeting perspective, one of the panel sessions will be dedicated to modern economy, co-operation among science, business and industry, as well as the prospects of the use of public means to support innovativeness and higher competitiveness of companies on the global market.

Presentations on the subject of foreign markets such as Japan and U.S.A., conducted by leading experts and business practitioners in those countries will complement discussion panels with entrepreneurs, media, educators and local administration representatives. Moreover, opportunities for investment and business activity in Eastern Poland , as well as ways of supporting of the development of the local business and export will be presented.

The 4th Eastern Poland Business Forum is organized within the framework of the Programme for the Economic Promotion of Eastern Poland co-financed by the European Fund of Regional Development.
