Participants agreed that the Polish investment potential will be growing. However, according to them, the changes are inevitable. A major challenge will be a matter of decreasing public aid due to perspective of lack of European funds. That is why special economic zones, which activity was extended to 2026, will play a key role in attracting foreign capital.

The strength of zones is their industry specialization. For instance, Łódź SEZ produces household goods and Katowice SEZ attracts mainly investors from automotive branch.
