Poland, compared with the population living within its boundaries, has one of the largest diasporas on the global scale. Across the globe there are, according to various estimates, 18 to 20 million Poles and people of Polish origin. The publication of “Atlas of Polish presence abroad” is a part of project undertaken by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to collect more thorough information about Poles and Polish Communities abroad.
