On 3 February, on the invitation of Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency and Employers of Poland, representatives of government, institutions and business talked about the creation of easy to use and effective tools of financial support for entrepreneurs.

According to a survey conducted by Bloomberg, Poland is the best place to do business in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Moreover, it is one of the most innovative countries in the world.

“The Go Africa project was created to help Polish entrepreneurs to leave the European cocoon,” said president Sławomir Majman while opening the conference summarising the achievements of the Go Africa programme last year.

During the next two years, 39% of Polish companies plan to expand their business internationally. Nearly half of these are small businesses. This is the outcome of a survey conducted by CitiBank on CEOs and CFOs from eight countries of CEE region and the Middle East.

520 contracts were signed between 2010-2013 by Polish entrepreneurs from the Eastern Poland under the Eastern Poland Promotion Programme provided by Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency.

We are on the way to foreign investors’s paradise – convinced the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ) president Sławomir Majman summing up the 2013 year in FDI investments. In 2013, PAIiIZ closed 53 investment projects which will create 18,963 new jobs – this result is 90% better than in 2012.

The seventh Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency gala celebrating the best investors of the year was held in the stylish interiors of the Polonia Palace Hotel. The biggest and most significant foreign investments provided in 2013 were honoured at the event.

The next cooperation agreement between Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency and its counterpart has been signed. This time, the new cheaper of Polish – Italian economic cooperation has just started. The agreement was signed by Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency president Sławomir Majman and the head of Italian Trade Agency – Riccardo Maria Monti in the presence of ministers of economy from the two countries: Janusz Piechociński and Fabrizio Saccomann.
