Studio Project at the FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland is an opportunity for young and talented designers recommended by the Programme Committee to present their collections. One of the laureates at the 13th Fashion Week Poland was Marta Kuszyńska. She presented her Shiraz Collection, which refers to the abundance and flair of the Middle East. Silk, organza, cotton with satin finish, jacquard, lace, manually sewn sequins and ornaments, attracted the attention and delighted everyone gathered at the fashion show.

After the show we asked Marta Kuszyńska about her collection, inspirations and plans for the future.

Every time more than 2,000 companies from all over the world apply to Start-Up Chile and approximately 100 initiatives are selected. This year Michał Majewski and his PublishSoSimply Project was one of them. We are talking with Michał about his success and the plans to make his company a success.

Americans of Polish descent, Polish immigrants as well as a couple of “Poles by choice” – 30 people have told the story of their life in a unique project run by the Emigration Museum in Gdynia. We are talking with Karolina Bielawska, the director of a documentary entitled Mów mi Marianna (Call me Marianna) – the film about a woman who made a dramatic choice between living in harmony with her sexual identity and being with her family. It has been widely recognised and received numerous awards at international festivals. This week the audience at the 5th Play Poland Film Festival will have a chance to see it.

Ms. Barbara Borys-Damięcka is a theatre and television director, president of the Association of Theatre Directors of Theatre in Poland, President of the Pole of the Year in the Netherlands jury, Chair of the Council of Television Polonia, Senator (VII and VIII terms), working on the Committee for Culture and Media and the Committee for Emigrant Affairs and Liaisons with Poles Abroad. In an interview with Link to Poland, she talks about her everyday work, the emergence of TV Polonia, and the basis of success of Television Theatre.

The seventh edition of Bella Skyway Festival was all about celebrating the incredible human capacity of perceiving life in all its dimensions. Once again, its public had an opportunity to observe new trends in contemporary art, and to search for links between science and art based on high technology, which lifts audio-visual art to another level.
