On the 31st of January 2018, PLUGin Warsaw will host a discussion panel entitled National Borders of Innovations: Do they Matter? The invited speakers will try to determine whether innovations are global – universal – or limited by national borders and do those borders matter for these innovations?  The event will also mark the launch of the Warsaw chapter of PLUGin, the organisation whose main goal is building a community around the Polish innovation and technological diaspora.

MIT Technology Review selects the Top 10 Polish Talents competing for a spot on the final list of Innovators Under 35 Europe. The complete list of European laureates will be unveiled on September 14th in Paris during the Innovators Under 35: Summit Europe 2017.

XTPL is working on a technology of ultra-fine printing of nanomaterials and it has just reached a new breakthrough by reducing the printed line width to 124 nanometres. The entire process of producing the lines is completely repeatable, which means that XTPL can start commercializing its original technology.

On December 14, 2016 representatives of the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency and the Board of Kraków Airport signed a letter of intent concerning the cooperation aimed at activation of Ground Based Augmentation System (GABS) at Kraków Airport. The signed agreement concerns implementation of GBAS-based instrument flight procedure at Kraków Airport. The system uses satellite technology supporting the air traffic control navigation system.

The third edition of the Polish-American Innovation Bridge will be held on 18th and 19th November 2016 in Krakow Technology Park.
