16 microapartments, more than 20 tutors, common co-working space and an apartment in the city centre of Wrzeszcz – in the lively area full of cultural events and spaces. This is what Clipster can offer you. In the last year, nearly 20 people had an opportunity to develop their ideas. Multifunctional microapartments are available from 1 000 zł per month. Future entrepreneurs can start living in Clipster from 15th September 2016.
“Clipster is not only a space – it is a community. This is where I have met investors, mentors, people who are supporting my project and other Clipster people, with whom I can exchange experiences. Some of us have even started a common work on the projects” – says Jakub Tomaszewski, former Clipster inhabitant.
“Clipster allows you not only to develop a project but also verify the potential of your idea. In some cases it occurred that the ideas of Clipster inhabitants can not bring expected success. After such a conclusion they could concentrate on other projects. In this way Clipster helps to lower the amount of failed businesses” – claims Kinga Kuczyńska from Gdańsk Entrepreneurship Incubator STARTER.
What kind of people do creators of Clipster look for?
Till now in this space we have developed ideas from fields such as medicine, artificial intelligence or cuisine. Part of them evolved quickly under supervision of tutors and soon will enter the market. In Clipster everyone who looks for a creative space to live will find his place – adds Michał Mysiak from Alfabeat.
Before the residents appear in September in Clipster, everyone who is interested can rent available microapartments within the summer programme of Clipster. Tourists or Gdańsk citizens can participate in numerous activities and meetings with travellers or startupers (free of charge). Clipster summer programme has already had about 300 participants. Yet from 15th September will it again become the home of future entrepreneurs.
Those who apply via an application form available at Clipster.pl will be invited for an interview which will confirm the possibility of living in Clipster. The rental and participation costs vary from 1000 PLN gross/month for a single apartment to 1700 PLN gross/month for a double apartment – with most costs included. Depending on the development of business projects, the residency in Clipster can last 3, 6 or 9 months.
