Chopin Airport’s first modern terminal has been redeveloped in a new form. Following a major overhaul, it has lost its original violet-red roof colour, but got bigger and more comfortable, making it possible to handle over 20 million passengers annually.
Multimedia benches, a mobile tourist information point, 5D bicycle simulator, artistic performances, amber creations will present Poland’s tourism potential during the Polish Tourism Week which has begun today at the World Exposition EXPO 2015 in Milan. All activities, which will take place between 18 and 24 May in Poland’s Pavilion and throughout Milan, will be held under the motto “Poland. Come and find all colours of life.” The Polish Tourism Week is organised by the Polish Tourist Organisation.

On May 18, KLM officially inaugurates a direct route between Amsterdam and Kraków. The Dutch carrier had, until then, only offered flights between the capitals of each country.
With both passenger comfort and safety in mind, Chopin Airport has launched new gate readers to automate and fasten boarding pass control. The Warsaw airport is the first one in Poland to introduce the system.

From 18 May 2015, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will expand its medium-haul network with three new destinations to Krakow, Montpellier and Belfast. In addition the Air France-KLM Group launches four new intercontinental routes to Bogotá, Cali, Vancouver and Edmonton. Moreover KLM fleet will be renewed.
