Almost 90 per cent of all flights at Chopin Airport arrive and depart on time, making it one of the most punctual airports in the world, says the latest OAG Punctuality Report.

Starting 3rd July Chopin Airport will welcome a new air carrier. Low-cost Dutch airline Transavia will launch flights from Warsaw to Paris Orly. Transavia will become the 31st airline offering scheduled flights from Chopin Airport, with services to Paris being the 12th new route from Warsaw to be launched in 2015.
According to the latest AirlineRatings ratings, Polish airlines LOT has been listed among the safest airlines in the world.
Finnair will start flying to Chicago next summer, from 13 June to 17 October 2015. Flights will be operated three times a week with Airbus A330 aircraft.
Chopin Airport handled over 746,000 passengers in November 2014, a 7.1% increase on the same month last year.

Ryanair, Poland’s no 1 airline, yesterday (18 September) launched its Warsaw summer 2015 schedule with 7 new routes to Athens, Fuerteventura, Glasgow, Gran Canaria, Lisbon, Madrid and Tenerife, as well as increased frequencies on 10 other routes, which will deliver 2.5m customers and support 2,500* “on-site” jobs at Warsaw Airport.
Polish regional airline Eurolot is expanding its route network from Warsaw. The airline has announced four new scheduled intra-European routes as of Winter 2014/2015.
Norwegian is due to launch three brand new routes between Warsaw and London-Gatwick, Las Palmas and Tenerife.
