Transavia will operate three weekly flights on the Paris-Warsaw-Paris route with Boeing 737-700 and 737-800 aircraft.

For 11 years, Transavia, in operation since 1965, has been a part of the Air France KLM group. Currently, the airline provides flights to nearly 100 destinations in 24 countries across Europe, Mediterranean, as well as Iceland and the United Arab Emirates.

Transavia will become the 31st airline offering scheduled flights from Chopin Airport, with services to Paris being the 12th new route from Warsaw to be launched in 2015.

Chopin Airport is the fastest growing airport in Europe. By the end of 2014, it will have handled over 10.5 million passengers for the second consecutive year.
