Poland is the major target for the US investments in Central and Eastern Europe. The United States has invested nearly $2.5 trillion across Europe, of which at least $29 billion came to Central and Eastern Europe. The biggest recipient of American investments in CEE is Poland where the value of direct investments in 2012 was $14 billion.
78 % of American investments in Poland are in the services sector. 69% of the surveyed companies made reinvestments in Poland. “Poland is a paragon of stability and reasonable economic policy. American companies appreciate the safe business environment, and this drives so many of them to bring subsequent projects to Poland”- Polish Infomation and Foreign Investment Agency president Sławomir Majman comments on the report.
During the last 20 years Poland from the foreign recipient country investment has become an investor. While the total value of Polish investments in the US is relatively low, their dynamic is growing since 2010. Currently in the US thwew are among others: Zortrax, Game Technologies, KGHM, Inglot, Com.40, HTL-zone, Selena Global Experience.
