The mission will be held between 8-13 October. It’s open to Eastern Poland companies whose activity is related to the production of food, machinery, chemicals and energy. Currently PAIiIZ is recruting the participants of the mission.
”Africa is a very attractive economic area where companies from Eastern Poland have a lot to offer. We see the great interest for the Polish food and for agri – food machines made in Poland on African markets, that is why we have arranged a trade mission to Ethiopia and Tanzania. Some of the Polish companies have already been active on the African continent. For example, last year Polish tractor manufacturer from Lublin signed a contract for the delivery of 3,000 machines to Ethiopia“, says Vice President of PAIiIZ Monika Piątkowska.
The business mission has been arranged by PAIiIZ under the Eastern Poland Economic Promotion Programme run by the Agency from January 2010. The programme creates the opportunity for the promotion of the economic potential of Warmia-Mazury, Podlasie, Lublin, Podkarpackie and Świętokrzyskie as well as for individual companies operating in these regions.
PAIiIZ is providing a direct promotion and media campaign designed to draw attention of foreign investors to Eastern Poland. Under the programme, represantatives of companies and local authorities take part in trade fairs and business missions. Until recently, the programme has been focused on such markets as Europe, the US, the Arab countries, China, Korea, and Japan. Now, PAIiIZ expands the promotion to new markets of African countries.
The representatives of the companies from Eastern Poland interested in participating in the mission to Ethiopia and Tanzania can apply until 14 August 2014. For more details visit: Why Eastern Poland or PAIiIZ (Polish version only)
