Holidays with kids – Where and how?

Family holidays are one of the most important moments throughout the whole year. No wonder we want them to be perfect and make the best decisions we can. How to organise holidays with kids? Should we do it individually or with some help from a travel agent? Where should we look for inspirations? Here are some tips!

Poland vs. Abroad

There is no obvious answer to where our holidays will be more successful. Everything depends on your expectations and your idea for a holiday adventure. It turns out that Poland can offer many wonderful places that are worth visiting. You can find other parents’ inspirations for great holidays in Poland here: Dziecko w podróży. Parents’ creativity has no limits and their opinions are priceless.

We often choose holiday destinations based on our kids’ age and their ability to travel (both by car and on the plane). “Nothing by force” is the best rule. If your kids are not born globetrotters, give them some time. In a year or two they may find a need to discover the world. No one knows your kids better than you do and no one else will plan better holidays for them than you will.

The Baltic Sea – Why not?

For years the Baltic Sea has been one of the most popular holiday destinations. It goes without saying that our beaches are remarkably beautiful. Still, holidays on the Polish coast have many opponents. They complain about weather, cold water and crowds. It’s not the whole truth, though. The last few years on the Baltic coast have been exceptionally sunny and temporary bad weather can be a great opportunity to sightsee. Picking the right accommodation is also quite important. Choosing a kid-friendly hotel (e.g.: Pensjonat Wojciech Władysławowo) you can be sure that your kids will have a great time regardless of the weather.
