It is the world’s first intelligent trash which by using modern technology recognizes, sorts and crushes the trash. The proposed solution can be used both in offices, public spaces and homes. No wonder that Bin-e increasingly appears on the European start up stages and more often it is acclaimed.
– Our initial vision of smart trash can, owing to the participation in events such as Startupbootcamp IoT in London or Bitspiration in Warsaw or Hubraum in Krakow and finally Hardware.co in Berlin, has become actual. Today we know that what we do is important not only for us but also for all who care about the environment and real savings associated with waste production – reports Marcin Łotysz, creator of Bin-e.
Without hesitation, the success of young entrepreneurs is a result of high openness to mentors’ suggestions, who they met during the biggest accelerators for start’ups in Europe. Adapting strategies to surrounding reality and implementing a number of changes to the earlier postulates led to the fact that today the largest cities in Europe, which rely on modern solutions, are eagerly waiting for the appearance of “Bin-e” on the market.
–The last three months have been extremely important for us, not only because of the participation in so many events. Meetings with mentors, investors, their advice and valuable suggestions made that today we know exactly in which direction we want to go and how important our work is – says Jakub Luboński, the creator of Bin-e.
Investors increasingly rely on initiatives that use modern technologies to increase interactivity and efficiency of urban infrastructure and offices and its components. Bin-e’s development direction is a step into the future, which is proved by the received awards and events at which the team of Bin-e is increasingly being invited.
– Being among the winners during Hardware.co is a great honor for us. It is also proof that the problem of waste management is so important that more and more major cities, or companies are looking for intelligent solutions that help them cope with the waste – adds Marcin Łotysz.
“Bin-e” got to the finals of the competition „ KICkoff Competition” – programme, which supports the most promising projects, that contribute to the realisation of sustainable energy development in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
– KICkoff perfectly fits in with our ideas. Final is on 20th September. We are pleased with the fact that we’re going to be a part of it. Now we are trying to concentrate on the work on a prototype and we hope that in the autumn we will be able to present it to a wider audience. – says Jakub Luboński.
