Screening of 2 films awarded during CUT IT SHORT FESTIVAL. Talent 2013 Wojtek Jodko “Dunya” and Public Vote Award 2013 Martina Gili “The Persistence of Memory”

“Overtone Festival” – It is an international music festival of boundary-expanding music inspirations. Festival aims to present new and up-coming artists from different music genres and nationalities brought together under the PAiL curatorial effort. This year’s edition of the festival is inspired by Polish musical heritage.

kinoVision – the healing power of Inteligent light.You will be introduced to the world of colour and its triggering abilities against our moods. KinoVision aims to put on an experimental audio-visual experience, where the audience will be able to experience a journey into own imagination via live visuals made of various liquids and chemical reactions.
RichMix -Venue 2 /6.00 – 8.00 p.m.
“Soundpainting” workshop aimed at performers ranging from 5-year-olds to professional musicians. Soundpainting is a compositional sign language created by American composer Walter Thompson in the 1970’s, as an evolution of Frank Zappa, Butch Morris and Sun Ra’s experiments. It allows a conductor (soundpainter) to create live compositions with the improvised responses of an ensemble of performers, making it a fully interactive and collective process.
Soundpainting is also a ground-breaking attitude, as the same language finds a corresponding meaning for all the art forms, so opening the way to integrated multi-disciplinary live composition.
Participants should bring their instrument if they can, but it’s not a condition.
