“Impossible? – does not exist!” It’s your personal motto. How do you translate it to your daily routine?

This personal motto has arisenin myself in the first weeks after coming to The Netherlands. The beginning wasn’t easy for me and I’ve met a lot of obstacles on my way. It was a moment when I’ve realised that everything what happens in my life only depends on the decisions I take every day. “Impossible ? – does not exist” helps me to cope with all of the difficulties I encounter, which are not for the others to overcome.  This corresponds to my business, but also with my private life.

What is the image of Polish entrepreneurs in The Netherlands?

Interesting question, I think that this image is interpreted by everyone differently. For some of us, an “entrepreneur x” is good and delivers ideal product or service, for others, the same entrepreneur can be seen negative. I have different experiences. In The Netherlands, several businesses operate very professional which are able to deliver an amazing product or service. Unfortunately, there are also other businesses, which are not able to cope with these standards. I do not distinguish between the country of origin of the entrepreneur, into Pole-Dutch .For someone who is an entrepreneur , it is important that he will deliver in the best possible way the solution to a client’s problem in a form of a product or a service.

What else can improve this image?

The image can be improved always. The most important thing is to present yourself the best possible way and do best everything which we are passionate about. Myself, I never start anything if I am not passionate about it. Starting companies, which have a fast growth and are successful with it, is the best sign to me that I love what i do. The client will always notice it and he might choose you rather than other competitive companies, which do not believe in your products or service.

How being awarded in the Pole of The Year in The Netherlands contest, in Business and Internet Users price has influenced your business?

I think that being awarded with two prizes gave me still more faith and was a sort of acknowledgment for my hard work. Today, once I train entrepreneurs from many countries, I repeat, that it is worthy to participate in such kind of events as this contest, for a reason to motivate yourself and other Poles living here.

Which three practical tips could you share with someone who plans to start their business ? What is according to you the most important to know?

First of all, if you do not know what you want and what is the goal of your business, you should not start. You need to be well prepared, but even better you need to learn fast from the best. Look for people around who are successful and learn from them how they achieved their goals. Find a mentor, a trainer who will support you and guide you through this not always easy way of doing business. Invest in yourself, in books, training etc. Besides that, surround yourself with people who are positive and who has similar ambitions and plans as you. Remember always about it, that is it you who offers a solution to their problem in a form of a product or a service. Concluding, believe that you deserve the success.
