You can still participate until the end of May in the Business in Germany contest, where Polish companies can win a study visit to Germany. Just shoot a three-minute video about the product or service, which the creator/creators would like to enter the German market. The video should be sent using the form on the Business in Germany website.

In June, the jury will select the creators of the top five ideas and invite them on a study trip to Munich – says Justyna Gaj, the project coordinator. The organisers cover the costs of transport, accommodation, and interpreters, and arrange business meetings with interesting business people in Bavaria.

The jury evaluating the competition will select films according to the same formal criteria, and each of them will also pay extra attention to the elements specific to each entry. Dariusz Zuk will pay particular attention to the scalability of the project and its potential for global expansion. In his opinion, past experience and achievements of the team are very important in creating a startup.

– In the process of evaluating competition projects I pay close attention to innovation and novelty. It is important that the ideas of participants are considered and feasible from a business standpoint. An essential component of success is also a passion and commitment to an ongoing project – emphasises Edward Tomasz Polaski.

In addition, Dr. Grazyna Strzelecka says particular attention should be paid to whether the offered product/service has a chance to break into the German market. – What is important for me is whether this proposal can come and compete with the range of German and international offerings in the German market. Perhaps, among the submitted films, there will be something so innovative that it will be in utterly unknown in Germany. We’ll see! – says the juror in the competition.

Germany has been Poland’s largest trading partner for more than 20 years. From the German point of view, Poland is ranked ninth among recipients of German goods, and 11th among exporters to Germany.
