Air Canada is Canada’s national airline. It plans to commence operations in Warsaw on 16 June. The Warsaw-Toronto route will be operated using Boeing 767-300ER aircraft three times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The flights will depart from Warsaw at 11:00 and arrive in Toronto at 14:50. A return trip will be possible on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays – departing at 18:30 and arriving at 9:30.

The development of long-distance services is one of our top priorities and we’re focusing our commercial strategy on attracting new airlines and long-haul routes. Such actions help us to enhance Warsaw’s status as a transfer hub”, explains Michał Kaczmarzyk, director of Warsaw Chopin Airport.

Air Canada’s service to Toronto is the fourth long-distance connection from Chopin Airport planned to be launched next year. Earlier LOT Polish Airlines announced the launch of direct flights to Tokyo, Bangkok and Seoul.
