TVP Polonia will expand its offering for children and youth, placing particular emphasis on teaching Polish. The channel will restore the well-known series “Profesor Smok i przyjaciele”, and produce a pilot episode of a new programme for children which teaches the mother tongue from basics. Depending on the reactions of the audience, the new series will be produced and broadcast in 2015.

After years of absence, the TV theatre will return to TVP Polonia already in November 2014. By the end of the year, we will also see the premiere of the programme “Polska racja stanu”, devoted to Polish foreign policy. The series “Halo Polonia” about the Polish diaspora and Poles abroad will continue.  The lineup also features programmes created in cooperation with Poles in the East: “Wilnoteka,” “Nad Niemnem” and “Studio Wschód.” Apart from those novelties, TV Polonia will offer the best programmes of TVP 1, TVP 2, as well as TVP Kultura and TVP Historia that are the most popular with Polish audiences.

The MFA and TVP SA will continue to work together to create a more attractive programme offering for Poles abroad, also based on viewership measurements and surveys of audience’s expectations, which we plan to conduct next year.
