NAWA is a new institution that was established on October 1st, 2017. It is set up to coordinate state activties driving the process of internationalization of Polish academic and research institutions. The mission of NAWA is to foster the development of Poland in the area of science and higher education.

NAWA supports international mobility of students, academics and researchers and the process of internationalization of Polish HEIs and research institutions. Agency promotes Polish science and higher education and popularizes teaching of the Polish language.

Carrying out its tasks, NAWA operates in a transparent manner and is based on competition rules. In order to ensure a high quality of application evaluation and to select the best among the applications submitted, we invite experts who represent various research areas and have experience in the implementation and evaluation of research, education and promotion projects in the field of science and higher education. Experience related to management in the field of higher education or science as well as international cooperation will also be an asset.

In the NAWA’s Director order regarding NAWA external experts, the rules of cooperation with individual groups of experts were defined, as well as the amount of remuneration for carrying out tasks for the Agency.

NAWA invites you to cooperate on the internationalisation of universities and scientific institutions and to co-create the highest quality expert system.
