The 13th edition of Kinoteka will feature such films as Wojciech Smarzowski’s The Mighty Angel, 15 Corners of the World by Zuzanna Solakiewicz, which won a prize at the Locarno Festival, or Krzysztof Skonieczny’s Hardkor Disco, one of the most highly acclaimed Polish film debuts in recent years. The festival, which will run for almost two months, will also hold public meetings and discussions with Polish filmmakers, and workshops by Polish film industry professionals and music events.

The festival goers will also be able to see classic Polish films directed by Andrzej Wajda, Krzysztof Kieślowski, Krzysztof Zanussi and others. The Kinoteka Festival will also present a project entitled “Martin Scorsese Presents Masterpieces of Polish Cinema” featuring 24 outstanding Polish films selected by the legendary director that will be screened in their new digital versions.
