Polish boats in the Bahamas. This year the inconspicuous Bahamas turned out to be the big surprise, as the country jumped to first place in the ranking of the most important recipients of Polish exports throughout Latin America. The value of exports to this small island country (more than PLN 2.7 billion) was higher than to such powers as Mexico or Brazil. And it’s all thanks to the export of vessels for the transport of persons or goods, tankers and cruise ships and other cruise boats. These huge vessels helped the Bahamas to jump from 42nd to 28th on the list of the consumers of Polish goods, according to data for the 3rd Q 2015.
