Visitors will have a chance to take a look at Just Pen, a prototype device for writing with one finger for disabled people, designed by Piotr Górski of AP Dizajn. Guests will be presented with free brochures outlining 37 Polish inventions that are already being used or are soon to enter the market. Sixteen inventions will be described in detail on information boards.

One of the featured inventions involves a double-sided A type USB port, designed to eliminate the problem of inserting USB sticks the wrong side up: it adapts to the position of stick pins. The invention was awarded at the prestigious International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva. Its author is Jędrzej Blaut from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. Other devices include a briefcase with built-in scales and PIAP GRYF, a mobile robot for quick reconnaissance and probing of hard-to-reach spots by intelligence and uniformed services in counter-terrorism and crisis management operations. Both inventions have been designed by the Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements. Another device is CyberFish, an underwater robot with fish-like movements, created by Marcin Malec and Marcin Morawski of the Krakow University of Technology.

The exhibition portrays Poland as a modern and innovative country. It has been mounted with help from the Polish Academy of Sciences, Polish Federation of Engineering Associations, Polish Patent Office, and Association of Polish Inventors and Rationalizers.

The exhibition is open until 1 June 2015.
