Eleven Polish photographers are among the winners of the prestigious 11th edition of the International Photography Awards. 45 photos of the best photographers will be presented during an exclusive show in Los Angeles and published in photographic magazines around the world.

In Category Professional were awarded:

Ilona Szwarc (2nd place / People: Children)

Marcin Majkowski (2nd place / Architecture: Briges),

Mateusz Sarełło (3rd place / Books: Other)

 

In Category Non-Professional:

Adrian Mirgos (1st and 2nd places, Advertising: Music)

Paweł Wieczorek (1st place, editorial: Sports)

Jakub Ochnio (2nd place, Editorial: Other)

Arkadiusz Jankowski (2nd place, Advertising: Fashion and 3rd place: Advertising: Self-Promotion)

Mirosława Kowalczuk (3rd place, Advertising: Fashion)

Leszek Paradowski (3rd place, Book Self-published: Nature)

Karolina Jonderko  (Finalist, Deeper Perspective)

 

The Lucie Foundation is a sister effort of the International Photography Awards. Its three-tier mission is to honor master photographers, to discover and cultivate emerging talent, and to promote the appreciation of photography, worldwide.

International Photographer of the Year, Discovery of the Year, Moving Images of the Year and Deeper Perspective will be announced at the Lucie Awards on October 27, 2013.
