The jury of the All-Poland Satirical Contest “Manufaktura Satyry. Żyrardów 2014” met on 9 July 2014 in the Resursa Gallery in Żyrardów. There were 75 works by 35 authors submitted to this year’s edition connected with “Technology and invention.”
The jury consisted of:
Chairman: Witold Mysyrowicz (President of the Association of Polish Caricature Artists)
Members: Jarosław Szafaryn (Head of the Promotion and Culture Department, City of Żyrardów) and Zbigniew Kołaczek (artistic curator of the All-Poland Satirical Contest “Manufaktura Satyry’, artistic curator of the Resursa Gallery)
Secretary: Magdalena Grochowska (Promotion and Culture Department, City of Żyrardów)
The following awards and distinctions were given:
1st place Krzysztof Grzondziel (Mysłowice)
2nd place Leszek Ołdak (Opole)
3rd place Halina Kuźnicka (Warszawa)
Honorary distinctions: Robert Mirowski (Warszawa), Zbigniew Urbalewicz (Olsztyn), Krzysztof Suski (Lubań Śląski), Piotr Zatorski (Będzin), Przemysław Zamojski (Tarnobrzeg) and Tomasz Niewiadomski – drawing, Grzegorz Janusz – text (Warszawa)
