The project is realised by “Teraz Polska” Magazine, which organised a series of debates called “25/25. Young leaders to start.” The invited experts chose 25 young leaders who have the best chance to influence Poland’s development in the next 25 years and get its own generations involved in the process.

In the year when we celebrate the 25th anniversary of free Poland there are many summaries and comparisons made but there is no one asking “What next?” We wanted to complete numerous recollections of the past with the voice that would speak about the future and to demonstrate leaders from the young generation who will soon be able not only not to waste this heritage but to give Poland’s growth a new quality and dynamics – said Krzysztof Przybył, President of “Teraz Polska” Polish Promotional Emblem Foundation.

Last Thursday the laureates received official decorations and decided to launch the Leaders of the Future Club, which would be the forum to create ideas important for Poland’s development, to work out a unanimous opinion about the most important matters connected with social and economic growth of the country and to solidify various undertakings important for Poland’s progress. The club has an open formula and the list of its charter-members can change depending on other leaders’ activities and achievements.

Each of us here has worked hard to accomplish certain results in our own fields. This work was often connected with promoting Poland (through culture, science or business). None of us is at the beginning of the road but at the important point of our professional career. This gives us a huge opportunity to make sure that our common voice matters. We have to convince people how important correlation and synergy of our mutual actions is – says Patrycja Piekutowska, an outstanding violinist, Leader of the Future.

The 25 Leaders of the Future are (in alphabetical order): Adam Bodnar, Janusz Bujnicki, Rafał Brzoska, Joanna Erbel, Agata Etmanowicz, Katarzyna Gierczak Grupińska, Łukasz Hardt, Leszek Jażdżewski, Olga Kozierowska, Sebastian Kulczyk, Artur Kurasiński, Wojciech Kuśpik, Dorota Masłowska, Łukasz Misiukanis, Grzegorz Piątek, Patrycja Piekutowska, Wojciech Przybylski, Michał Sadowski, Tomasz Sadzyński, Maria Seweryn, Kamila Sidor, Agnieszka Skala, Paweł Sroczyński, Sławomir Sierakowski, Darek Żuk.

It’s a huge privilege to be part of this group. It was interesting to hear what other nominees had to say about their experiences in the areas of activity so different from mine. We can exchange ideas as well as learn a lot and inspire one another – adds Kamila Sidor, co-author of Geek Girls Carrots, Leader of the Future.
