The congress, which was addressed to enterprising women, was formally opened by Jolanta Kwaśniewska, whose presence at the event aroused lots of attention.
After the official part women had a chance to take part in panel discussions and meetings with experts from different fields. Among the speakers there were both successful women as well as few but equally inspiring men. Special guests at the Polish Businesswoman Congress 2014 included Małgorzata Potocka, Ewa Minge, Krystyna Kofta and Kalina Ben Sira (La Perla Clinic). During the first part of the congress women could listen to Agnieszka Przybysz (Coaching Institute) and Danuta Terpiłowska talking about passion and how to change it into a success.
During the panel discussion entitled “I set up my own business and hit the wall – Why aren’t female businesses growing?” Aneta Murakowska (CreativeMedia – training, coaching, consulting) and Agnieszka Brytan-Jędrzejowska (Atena Research&Consulting) gave women some valuable advice on how to develop one’s business.
Elżbieta Krokosz, Maria Jolanta Batycka-Wąsik (Lesznowola municipality), Jolanta Grażyna Łukasiak-Malicka (Vistula Bank), Agata Brucko-Stępkowska (Futuro Finance), Anna Wicha (Adecco Poland), Magdalena Szewczuk (Betterware/magdaszewczuk.pl), Dr. Anna Dąbrowska (Orange Hill Sp. z o.o.) and Kamila Rowińska (Rowińska Business Coaching) revealed the secret of building the best team. Donata Nowakowska (Koleje Mazowieckie Sp. z o.o.) taught women how to talk to the media and Robert Noworolski (Quest Change Managers) shared his knowledge of effective negotiating skills.
Latest technologies and their application in creating one’s own business were discussed by experts from Lenovo Polska while Adam Wagner talked about the aspects of capital financing and growth. He also presented iForex – an investment platform.
On the last day of the congress Anna Kalata (Instytut Zmian Anna Kalata), Dr. Izabela Lenartowicz (MED ESTETICA Clinic), Edyta Szylak (Gel&Go), Monika Nałęcz (Onyx International Sp. z o.o.), Anna Sierpowska (Ovo Studio Sante), Lidia Trawińska (VIMED), Katarzyna Piasecki (ENNBOW), Beata Kupczyk (Vinicjo Pajaro), Elżbieta Wiśniewska (Mary Kay) and Magdalena Kijanko (Smiling Bar) discussed various aspects of being a healthy and beautiful woman in business.
Apart from panel discussions and meetings with experts the Polish Businesswoman Congress 2014 also included numerous fashion shows by such brands as Mysaru, goldenlizard, 3i, Olsen and Vinicio Pajaro, presented together with the jewellery by Venis and shoes by Nina Basco.
