The Municipal Council of Andrychów, Centre for Culture and Recreation, the Foundation “Promyczek” and Association of Szczyrk the Brigand invite you to “The Run for the Heart of Brigand from Zlota Gorka” which will be held on October 6, 2013 in Andrychów.
It is a sport and recreational event which serve to charity and seeks to support the Zbigniew Religa Foundation for Cardiac Surgery Development in Zabrze, and also help the little citizen of Andrychów.
First such event took place in Szczyrk in 2012 and enjoyed a big interest. That is why the organizers decided that they can also help sick children in Andrychów, while organizing a big party for absolutely EVERYONE!
The idea behind the event is to finish as many laps of the designated route as possible – a technique can be used. Everyone can participate in the event. The route may be crossed by running, bicycle, scooter, skateboard or rollers, on foot in a group of friends or Nordic walking. People with disabilities, on wheelchairs are also welcomed.
One lap of the route = a specific amount that will be spent to help sick children.
How can you help?
Primarily by your presence, but also by:
– informing about the Run as many people as possible
– assistance in obtaining a sponsor – perhaps there is a company whose owners work or live in your area and would be willing to devote a certain amount of money in exchange for advertising during the Run. Each sum counts and none is too small!
– buying a package of Run for 10 PLN that includes:
- T-shirt
- gadgets of the Run
- a special gift for the most active runners
– donating attractive prizes that could take part in the auction
– donating any sums to volunteers or making a bank transfer on a specially prepared prints (available at reporting point)
