Czeslaw Lang today received an award from Telewizja Polonia “For contributions to Poland and the Polish diaspora”. “Thanks to the Tour de Pologne he showed the potential of Poles, their talenst and skills,” we read in the reasons for his award.

This year, the prestigious international festival of films for children the TIFF Kids in Toronto is presenting two films for children whose creators are Polish film studios. The partner of the event, lasting until 21 April, is the Consulate General of Poland in Canada.

“Opowieści z pogranicza”(“Stories from the border worlds”) is the first collection of stories by Joanna Pilatowicz – a coach, dancer, choreographer, and a woman with a wide range of artistic interests. The stories were created as a result of the author’s interest in multicultural experiences, philosophy and her interest in how our thinking and environment influences us on many levels: personal, professional, artistic and health.
The main idea behind the “United States of Beta – Poles Jazz the World” record is openness to the world. It includes unique compositions, which take us into the world of musical diversity – ethno, jazz and chillout. It’s a distinctive mixture of influences and moods from the most distant places – from Scandinavia to Africa, from India to New York.
Artur Boguslawski – a piano player, versatile musician and co-author of the United States of Beta Projects is telling us about the creation of the “Poles Jazz the World” record, about his inspirations and about self-discovery.
