It’s the third day of the race for the Tour de Pologne. Today the pack will face the longest stage in this 73rd edition of the Polish race, a good 240 km, from Zawiercie to Nowy Sacz.

Fernando Gaviria (Etixx – Quick Step) won the second stage of the 73rd Tour de Pologne UCI World Tour of Tarnowskie Góry to Katowice and became the new leader of the race.
After Warsaw the Tour de Pologne is heading south. The second day of the Polish stage race is a classic flat stage, in which sprinters should play the main role. The riders will start from Tarnowskie Gory and will ride south, discovering the lovely scenery of Upper Silesia.
Davide Martinelli (Etixx – Quick Step) won the first stage of the 73rd Tour de Pologne UCI World Tour from Radzymin to Warsaw and became the first leader of the race.

Polish Festival returns to Seattle Center on Saturday, July 9, 2016 for its fifth edition celebrating Polish cultural traditions and achievements with audiences of the Greater Seattle region. This year the festival will present Warsaw and the region of Mazovia.
Last year, a team of students decided to demonstrate how beautiful Warsaw (Poland) would look without all of the billboards that clutter the building facades. Young people complained that these images are invasive and generate visual pollution and distractions that negatively impact passer-bys.
The first Polish Bilingual Day was organised on 10 October 2015 in the USA and Ukraine. In 2016 the Polish Bilingual Day will be celebrated on 15 and 16 October in the American cities of New York, Mahwah (NJ), Clifton (NJ), Copiague (NY), Boston (MA), Denver (CO) and Chicago (IL) as well as in Canada, Austria, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Ireland.
