Participants not only had a chance to hear the interesting stories of speakers and the advice they were happy to give to the large audience, but also to talk to them off stage. Moreover, organisers provided participants with some additional attractions, such as the town game and the feature game, which aim tomix participants together and introducing them to the beauty spots of Lublin. The programme of events includeda screening of the pilot episode of “Jesus Garcia”, the online series, and both days of the conference ended with dancing in the evening led by a DJ. The event was hosted by Patrycjusz Wyżga, a TVN24 journalist.

The 360 Forum was inaugurated by a press conference featuring the Deputy President of Lublin, Grzegorz Siemiński, and the Dean of UMCS in Lublin, Professor Stanisław Michałowski. Representatives of local and national media had a chance to ask about the main objectives of the event and the behind-the-scenes processes of its organisation. All the organisers unanimously said that the 360 Forum is a great chance for professionals seeking to launch their own start-ups andto gain an insight into the world of media and business, as well as for those who are still looking for inspiration and their own life-path.

Subjects of lectures were miscellaneous, but they all shared a main theme of business and passion. The audience had a chance to gain more knowledge about high technology within medicine and multimedia hardware, influencing the quality of our lives to a great extent. They also learnedabout behind the scenes of the world of media, and the challenges for those wishing to improve themselves or to launch a start-up. The inaugural presentation on the topic “From the free dictionary to the Automatic Translator of Sign Language” was given by Sławek Łuczywek”, and it was followed by “Don’t pay me” of Piotr Skarbek. Wojtek Urbański made us realize“How soundfunctions withinpublic spaces and how it influences each and every one of us”. Kamil Adamczyk reminded everyone that being healthy is trendy with a talk“It is fashionable to be healthy: the world of mobile apps and quantified self devices”, and Dr Andrzej Wodecki invited us to“Brain Fitness”. Dr Sergiusz Trzeciak revealed secrets of “Personal Branding: how to build your personal brand”; next Anna Jaglińska taught us that “Everyone can be a journalist, or how not to repeat nonsense”.Friday’s speeches started with the presentations by Emilia Bylińska, the owner of the original visage saloon, Mani Mani. She was followed by Konrad Sierzputowski with a speech on “Pros and cons of the device start-up”. Rafał Bauer gave advice on how “To beat oneself” and Andrzej Godlewski convinced future journalists that “Talent is not enough – 10 ways to become successful within the Polish media”. Moreover, Karolina Cwalina reminded (not only!) women that “Sexy starts in one’s head”;Hubert Bartkowiak introduced us to“The cosmic business – from forum to company”.Michał Zaborowski told the audiance“How to transfer one’s passion into business”.Dr Dominik Smyrgała raised the subject of “Ukraine and the safety of Europe’s energy supplies”

According to the words of Andrzej Godlewski, the Deputy Director of TVP1, who appeared on the stage during Friday’s presentations, everyone should be able to recognise one’s five minutes and use them to the fullest.
