Once again, The Hague will be the venue for the ‘V4 Business Women Congress’ in celebration of International Women’s Day. Some 350 ‘women at the top’ from Central Europe will meet to support each other in their careers and entrepreneurship.

The event is held under Link to Poland’s media patronage.

On 12 January Polish Infomation and Foreign Investment Agency held the conference on investment incentives in the food sector. “Polish companies entering global market should cooperate with each other to reduce both: costs and the risk”, argued deputy minister of Economy Ilona Antoniszyn – Klik. “Now, the sector should also concentrate on developing competitive & innovative projects instead of selling products cheaper abroad”, she argued.

The 9th Energy Forum will take place on 22-24 January in Karpacz, Poland. The Forum is considered one of most important energy conferences in Central Europe.

The economic-investment mission of representatives of Polish institutions and companies headed by deputy minister of economy Jerzy Pietrewicz has finished successfully. The mission is one of the projects arranged on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relation between Poland and India. Polish Infomation and Foreign Investment Agency was represented in India by deputy president Monika Piątkowska.

Poland has a potential to become a leader of innovation of the Visegrad Group (V4) – this is the main conclusion of the report “Emerging Innovation Leader of the Visegrad Group”, prepared by Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The report describes two Polish cities – Warsaw and Kraków as the most innovative centres in the V4 region, due to the impressive number of scientists and engineers who work there.

50 completed investment projects with a total value of €1,809.74m which will create 8,513 new jobs in the nearest future – it’s a preliminary result of investments supported by Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency in 2014.

The capital city of Italy hosted the event entitled “The Evening of the Polish Economy” that was dedicated to Polish participation in the next year’s International EXPO Exhibition in Milan.
