60 teams have declared their participation in the third edition of European Rover Challenge. They come from 12 countries, among others from Canada, USA, Italy, Poland and also Peru. The final round of the competition will take place in Jasionka, between 10th and 13th September 2016.

The Mars Society announced the results of the Critical Design Review (CDR) stage of the URC. The top 30 teams have advanced to the next stage, among them are 7 Polish teams.

The event, which is the largest space – robotics event in Europe, will be held from 10-13th September 2016 in the Exhibition and Congress Centre in Jasionka (Podkarpackie Voivodeship).
The Canadians have dominated the podium in the second edition of the international Mars Rovers competition called the European Rover Challenge. The first place went to the University of Saskatchewan Space Design Team from Canada, followed by the Polish team from the Białystok University of Technology (#next team) and the Mc Gill University Team from Montreal.

European Rover Challenge is the Mars rover’s contest for student teams from all around the world. This year 27 teams are building their rovers to compete from 5th to 6th of September in Podzamcze near to Chęciny.

This year almost 40 teams from twelve countries have a chance to compete in the second edition of the European Rover Challenge, an international competition of Mars robots which will take place in Podzamcze near Kielce. Among the competitors there are: the American Yale University, multiple laureates of the American edition of the competition from the Białystok University of Technology or the last year laureates of ERC from the Kielce University of Technology and the Cairo University. The competition will be judged by experts from the European Space Agency.
