Once again, the collection by Ewa Gawkowska and Małgorzata Szczęsna was presented in a beautiful room of the 19th-century Hôtel Le Marois – France Amériques in the centre of Paris. There were 27 outfits beautifully displayed by models walking to the sounds from the new “Good Vaïbes” album by Vaimalama Chaves. The audience could admire delicate, airy, long evening dresses, mini cocktail dresses, elegant trousers with sequin jackets and sleeveless overalls both in pastel as well as strong, saturated shades of green, purple, blue and apricot.

“Our collections are always inspired by a woman. This time we look into her colourful soul to show what can make her regain harmony and beauty – said Ewa Gawkowskaafter the show. – The modern world imposes a dreadful pace on us and makes our life become a constant race. However, there come, for various reasons and at different stages of our life, moments when we stop to ask ourselves about the meaning and purpose of our existence. While looking for this answer it often helps us to open to the spiritual sphere of our life, inseparable from the world around us. Working on yourself, openness to other people, sharing good but also harmony with nature. The beauty and magic of blooming flowers, trees, green spring grass, lavender fields, blue sky, sunset or radiant smiles of people around us. We have transferred these unique aspects to our collection”.

The “Les Couleurs de l’âme” show was closed by a model in a white dress symbolising a peacock, one of the most beautiful royal birds, whose magnificence reminds us of everything that is special and unique in us, no matter how many imperfections we have.On the catwalk the model was accompanied by Vaimalama Chaves, Miss France 2019, singing live from her latest album called “Good Vaïbes”.

“Beauty is in each of us and even if it is hidden in the deepest recesses of our being, it is worth to rediscover it, believe in yourself and let yourself finally flourish again” – Małgorzata Szczęsna summed up the show.

To prepare the collection silk chiffon, organza, taffeta, French tulle and laces complemented with floral applications, crystals and natural feathers were used.

“Les Couleurs de l’âme” is the third collection presented by the La Metamorphose brand during the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
