This year the food, IT and primary industries had the strongest representation. A new thing in this edition was a special sub-category for companies demonstrating a great export potential, prepared together with the Ministry of Economy. Awarding the best companies with a high export level is a good tool to support the Polish economy and promoting economic patriotism.

All the applications submitted to this year’s edition of “Teraz Polska” competition had been sent to Industrial Expert Committees and were verified until 28 March 2014. The main criteria in evaluating products and services included quality, innovation, functionality, customer satisfaction, sales and markets.

The results presented by Expert Committees prove a high level of products and services submitted to the 24th edition of the competition. In the verification process as many as 97% of products and 93% of services received a positive opinion, while in the quality assessment more than 40% of companies collected 900 or more out of possible 1000 points.

Among all the applications that received a positive opinion the Expert Council has selected 39 products, 16 services 14 municipalities nominated to the Polish Promotional Emblem in this year’s edition of “Teraz Polska” competition.

Out of these, the Emblem Chapter will select the Laureates. Their list will be announced on 9 June 2014 at the gala concert in Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera.
