Dear fans of the sport and integration of the Polish Diaspora,
We officially know, that 11th World Olympic of Polish Communities will be organized in Giant Mountains (Karkonosze) between 23rd February – 2nd March 2014.
To all lovers of our sport expeditions to the homeland for the medals, nice meetings with compatriots and joyful returns to our beloved country, I would recommend the website Polonia Sport.
This site was created from the need to document events such as World Olympic of Polish Communities, Championship of Polish Communities, tournaments and other events involving Poles at home and from abroad.
For the time being, we have a lot to catch up because a lot has happened. We have gathered a lot of data and we are going to publish all the cards and the results of Polish Communities events since 2005. A sample of this already can be seen online. Looking through these informations it seems that we do not write about everything and everyone for which we apologize. But we had started from us and we hope that over time there will be more and more of your entries and informations about, what and how were you doing during your visits at Polish Communities events in Poland.
We would like, as I wrote before, as widely documented our meetings. We will not do this without your involvement. At this moment in time I want quote our best friend and very devoted activist Irena Borg who very eloquently said at the latest Polish Communities forum in Kielce: ‘’Don’t say anything about us without us’’
I encourage you to create with us News program Polonia Sport by sending pictures, texts and information’s about what we are doing and in which events we taking part. If you would like to actively participate in this project, please send information about yourself, and we will create for each interested person journalist profiles with the opportunity to make self-contained entries on the page.
“How it works” instruction, we will send by e-mail or we will tell you about this by phone call.
We are also encouraging you to ‘’exchange links’’.
‘’Together is better for us than alone’’ – this is our website motto.
The sporting spirit greetings in the name of creators of this webpage.
Let us fight for medals, and win the Polish Diaspora friendship and self-respect for each other!
