The conference will be held on the 9th of December 2015, from 8:00 to 16:00 at the Ministry of Development, Plac Trzech Krzyży 3/5, Pod Kopułą Room.

The aim of the conference is to raise a very critical issue, publicly rarely mentioned, that is the problem of stigmatization of entrepreneurs and managers who have experienced business failure. In the course of this debate participants will talk about matters important not only for entrepreneurship and thus economic development but also for building the social capital in Poland. They will take a look at failure and success culture and examine closely the reasons and consequences of the negative attitude towards failure. During the conference, using examples from international experiences, participants will try to find ways to develop a proper attitude towards failure, as well as they will discuss the possibility of an introduction of an effective support for people who experienced business failure. Apart from what was mentioned above there will be also an opportunity to share some tips that might be useful while dealing with insolvency situation.

The conference is a way to promote the positive culture of failure and encourage people to treat failure as a natural part of learning and improvement process that should be a base for the future success in business and in other aspects of life.

The conference is addressed to people and institutions directly and indirectly related to entrepreneurship environment. Invited speakers are Polish and international experts dealing with different aspects of failure and success – psychologists, sociologists, entrepreneurs, managers, business advisers, and representatives of the administration. We kindly invite all guests to actively take part in the conference in order to share their experience and knowledge.
