Launched October 24, 1992, TV Polonia established regular broadcasting March 31, 1993.
TV Polonia is received via satellite: Hot Bird, Astra and Eutelsat W3A. TV Polonia can also be viewed on local cable networks in select countries, using terrestrial transmitters, ADSL technology, GlobeCast Direct TV, and via the internet.
On TV Polonia, viewers living abroad can experience Polish films, serial shows, documentaries and animation. Programming is prepared using the rich archive of Polish television. Everyday features include
News and TeleExpress, as well as historical magazines, sightseeing, culture and entertainment, concerts and theatre. Select programs are broadcast with subtitles in English.
