The Men’s and Women’s Volleyball World Championship of Polish Communities have been held every two years since 2008. Before the event came to Silesia, it was hosted in 2008 and 2010 by the city Łowicz and in 2012 by Andrychów City.

These championships are organised to not only determine the best male and female team in the competition, but also to popularise volleyball among Polish Communities, integrate them and strengthen their connections with their homeland.

The opening ceremony of the Championship will be held on September 24, 2014 at 12 noon in the sports hall in Gliwice, Jasna st. 31.

Matches will be played in the sports halls of Gliwice city at Kozielska st. 1 and Jasna st. 31.

The closing ceremony, with the presentation of awards, will take place on September 27, 2014 after the final matches, at around 1p.m. in the sports hall at Jasna st. 31.

Please feel invited!
