This year’s edition is unique. The special guest of the event will be Majka Jeżowska a known singer with songs like “And I prefer my mother”, or “Coloured Children”, this event is not only for children but also adults. This Polish concert is primarily an unprecedented event for children and young people who rarely have the opportunity to participate in such initiatives. The festival also aims to popularize the Polish language among the younger part of the Polish community, as well as encourage the emergence of young talents. Therefore, during the event, participants will compete with each other for the title of best singer. The jury will consist of: Consul in Toronto Gregory Jopkiewicz, Majka Jeżowska, Kinga Mitrowska, Irena Jeżewski and King Lizoń. The highlight will be a concert by Jeżowska Majka, who will sing her greatest hits and inspire all. The festival has several years of tradition. It was first initiated by Iwona Malinowska in 2010 and was organized by the Polish School Nicolaus Copernicus University in Burlington. During the two previous editions, the scene has attracted many talented young people. Currently, the initiative is continued by the Polish – Canadian Education Centre.  “Our organization strives to help children and young people to develop their talents and passions. The festival is an unique experience that is sure to be an extremely rewarding and valuable one.  Not only because of the performance, but most of all because singing songs encourages learning the Polish language through play.” – concludes Natalia Łabuz president of PCEC.
